Job Role : Research Associate-I
Meteorology Facility at SDSC SHAR plays a pivotal role in weather forecasting and monitoring operations critical for space launches and solid propellant production. It provides high-quality upper-air observations for wind biasing near real-time for launch vehicles like GSLV, PSLV, and experimental missions.

Required Education & Experience:
- Ph.D. Degree in one of the following fields:
- Meteorology
- Atmospheric Sciences
- Oceanography
- Physics
- Applied Physics
The Ph.D. should have Meteorology or an equivalent subject as the main field of study.
- OR, a candidate must have at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal related to Atmospheric/Ocean/Climate Science along with:
- Proven knowledge in computer programming (e.g., Linux).Strong understanding of modeling techniques, forecasting methods, and data analysis relevant to meteorology and related sciences.

Educational Qualifications : PHD
- Graduates in any discipline from a University/Institution/Board recognized by the Government of India/UGC/other Government regulatory Bodies.
Age Requirement : 18 to 35 Years
Candidates should be between 18 – 35 Years of age and for the reserved categories there is age relaxation as per the government norms.
