About the Role:

As a News Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our algorithm training process, helping to define factors that are important to our clients. You will be at the forefront of breaking news, leveraging your passion for technology, social media, and online content.

Who You Are:

You are a highly motivated professional with expertise in mass communications, copy editing, journalism, or similar assignments. You thrive in a dynamic environment and have a keen interest in real-time data analysis and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyse real-time data from multiple datasets
  • Identify and investigate errors in news alerts and captions
  • Cross-check information with social media posts for accuracy, completeness, and factual correctness
  • Write and edit captions for social media posts
  • Audit and programmatically apply business rules for data validation
  • QA algorithmic is to improve the quality of the dataset output
  • Stay up-to-date on new policies, processes and procedures impacting the QA workflow
  • Adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Political/Social Sciences, or related fields
  • Expertise in mass communications, copy editing, journalism, or similar assignments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
