The Developer Support Engineer will be part of a team dedicated to supporting software developers globally, coding and maintaining applications and databases. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about coding, problem-solving, and providing technical support to enhance the experience of external developers.
Key Responsibilities
Drive team’s operational metrics in collaboration with the First Line Manager (FLM).
Develop and maintain software products using APIs, SDKs, and platform plugins.
Perform software coding and troubleshooting using PHP, Python, and JavaScript.
Query and manage SQL database tables.
Handle technical product issues and escalations while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with Software Engineers to understand needs and develop solutions.
Analyze productivity and operational metrics like utilization, turnaround time, and escalation rates.
Perform data analysis and provide actionable insights.
Ramp-up and train new hires in process knowledge and E2E operations.
Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience providing Enterprise Support in a technical environment.
- Strong analytical, coding, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, adapt, and learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused with empathy and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Programming and scripting experience in PHP, Python, JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, plugins, and SQL databases.
- Knowledge of Tableau, Unidash, Scuba, and Google Drive tools.
- Experience in Web Development.
- Familiarity with Lean & Six Sigma methodologies.
