Job Role: Credit Risk Analyst
In this role, the selected candidate will work with the risk management team to analyze and manage credit risk. The main goal is to help the company make safe lending decisions and reduce the chances of loan defaults.
You will work with teams such as data scientists, product managers, and business teams to improve credit policies and lending models.

Key Responsibilities
The Credit Risk Analyst will handle different tasks related to credit risk and lending operations.
- Analyze credit risk for different products such as merchant loans and personal loans
- Work with the business team to understand credit policies
- Implement credit risk policies on Paytm’s internal platform
- Monitor the performance of credit policies and suggest improvements
- Use data and analytics to evaluate customer creditworthiness
- Conduct testing and scenario analysis to check the strength of policies
- Track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and report insights to management
- Ensure that all lending activities follow regulatory and internal guidelines
- Collaborate with product and technology teams to improve risk decision systems
Required Skills
