ABOUT THE GLOBAL VOICE The Global Voice is an independent media house, built out of Goa, covering the world for a global English-speaking audience from an Indian perspective. We are YouTube-first, with our website as the editorial home base. We publish original analysis, not aggregation, no wire copy stripped and republished, no rewriting other outlets' reporting. We built TGV because most global coverage of the world runs through a Western lens by default. We think India has a distinct, credible point of view on how the world works, and that view deserves visuals as sharp and considered as the writing behind it. This is an in-office design role. You'll be creating editorial graphics, social media visuals, thumbnails, and brand assets daily, at a volume most design jobs don't ask for. This isn't a role where one graphic takes a day. We need someone fast, consistent, and good, all three at once. Since there's no way to share links through this application, add a link to your portfolio directly in your resume before applying. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered. SALARY: 2.4 LPA – 3.6 LPA, along with performance-based incentives EXPERIENCE: 2–4 years Work from Office: 6 days IMMEDIATE JOINING IN GOA. This role is not open to freshers directly. Every fresher joins through a 2-month paid internship first, with a real shot at converting to full-time based on performance. WHAT YOU WILL DO Design daily editorial graphics, article thumbnails, and social media visuals across platforms Maintain brand consistency across every asset, colours, typography, and layout, without needing to be told the rules each time Design for video, thumbnails, lower-thirds, title cards, working closely with the video and social team Turn dense, fast-moving news stories into visuals that are clear and fast to read at a glance Take a brief and run with it independently, without needing every detail spelled out Meet daily deadlines, every day, without being followed up WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR At least 2–4 years of professional design experience, with a portfolio that shows real client or publication work, not just personal projects Strong command of tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva or equivalent An eye for editorial and brand design specifically, not just general graphic design, you understand hierarchy, readability, and how a visual should work at a glance Speed without sacrificing quality, you can turn around multiple assets a day You understand how design changes across formats, a thumbnail is not a poster is not a social carousel You can join us in Goa immediately WHO WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR People who need heavy creative direction to produce anything usable People who are still building a portfolio rather than already working professionally People who treat brand guidelines as optional People who treat deadlines as suggestions
