Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Fabrication Assistant Posts: Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in relevant trades like Sheet Metal Work and Welder.
- Outfit Assistant Posts: Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC in trades such as Mechanic Diesel, Electrician, Plumber, and others.
Age Limit
- The maximum age limit for all posts is 45 years as of 30th December 2024.
Selection Process
The CSL recruitment selection process consists of two stages:
- Objective-Type Online Test:
- Duration: 35 minutes
- Total Questions: 30 MCQs
- Part A: General topics (10 marks)
- Part B: Trade-specific knowledge (20 marks)
- No negative marking.
- Practical Test:
- Candidates who qualify in the online test will be invited for a practical test, assessing their hands-on skills in the respective trades.
- Weightage: 70 marks.
Salary and Benefits
- Monthly Salary: ₹23,300.
- Extra Compensation: Up to ₹5,830 for additional hours worked.
- Additional Benefits: The salary structure is competitive and includes various allowances.
