Job Responsibilities
- Work side by side with data scientists, analysts, plus other stakeholders to grasp data needs & deliver solutions.
- Design, develop & keep automated data pipelines for gathering data from various sources.
- Keep an eye on (and boost) the performance of data pipelines.
- Fix issues related to data intake & processing as they arise.
- Implement changes to make sure data is ready for downstream applications.
- Make certain the quality and integrity of data are kept intact throughout its lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Know your way around Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core services.
- Be good with SQL and familiar with relational databases.
- Must understand concepts and tools related to data warehousing.
- Ability to work well within a team environment & communicate effectively.
- Strong programming skills in Python are a must.
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery + other essential GCP resources (like Cloud Storage, Dataflow & Pub/Sub).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
