Job Description:
Here’s what you’ll be doing in this role:
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable & reusable code by following best practices around software engineering (like Code Reviews, Unit Testing, etc.).
- Collaborate with product owners to understand detailed requirements. You’ll own your code from design to implementation, test automation, and delivery.
- Design software that’s simple to use, allowing customers to extend & customize it to meet their specific needs.
- Help design & implement new products and features while also enhancing existing ones.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 0-2+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language.
- A passion for JavaScript & the web as a platform. Also important are reusability & componentization.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
- Experience with modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue.
- Strong analytical and design skills.
- Working knowledge & ability to use tools for daily tasks (IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools).
