Job Description
- Author test planning with solid knowledge of business needs & testable requirements.
- Use Wipro’s Model based testing. It’s an efficient way!
- Ensure test cases are peer-reviewed with minimal rework.
- Work closely with the dev team to nail down & capture test cases.
- Set criteria, parameters & scope of testing. Involve in UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Automate the test life cycle process when apt through vb macros, scheduling & GUI automation.
Eligibility
- Develop & automate tests for software validation; setup test environments, design test plans, develop test cases/scenarios/usage cases & execute them.
- Ensure defects raised align with project/program/account norms, with clear descriptions and replication patterns.
- Spot bugs & file defect reports; report on test progress.
- No rejected/slipped work items; they meet Wipro/Customer SLAs & norms.
- Design & timely release test status dashboards after each cycle execution to stakeholders.
- Provide feedback on usability/serviceability; trace results to quality risks and report.
Skills
- Status Reporting and Customer Focus; ongoing respect towards testing and execution.
- Ensure high-quality customer interaction via email content, fault reports, voice calls & business etiquette.
- Timely deliveries – Weekly Status Reports (WSRs), Test execution reports and relevant dashboard updates in Test management repository.
- Update accurate efforts in eCube, TMS and other project trackers.
- Quick response to customer requests; zero complaints internally or externally.
