The role involves building reliable APIs and services, working with databases and distributed systems, and taking end-to-end ownership of backend features in a fast-paced product environment. ' Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend components Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models Own backend features end-to-end from development to production Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code Debug production issues and improve system reliability and performance Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices ✅ ' 2–4 years of backend software engineering experience Strong hands-on experience with Node.js Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services Strong knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in payments or fintech products. ✨ ?
